RASCHDORF, BUDDY & TARYN

Buddy and Taryn Raschdorf were called to full-time missions in the spring of 2020. Buddy, a former police officer, sensed the call to ministry in 2015. He completed his Master of Divinity degree from Regent University in 2020. Buddy’s heart is to help those in need, particularly refugees. Taryn is an associate professor of music education at Old Dominion University. She wants to use her love of music and children to bring the gospel to the unreached. The Raschdorfs have been married for 22 years and have 6 children – Marin (22), Avi (20), Asher (18), Nate (12), Elsie (8), and Chesed “Kess” (6). In August 2022, they took a short-term trip to Konstanz, Germany to minister among refugee families in the community. The Lord confirmed during this trip that Buddy, Taryn, and their three younger children should prepare to move to full-time ministry in Germany to serve among refugee families who have fled their homes in war-torn and desperate nations such as Syria, Iran, Somalia, Ukraine, and Afghanistan. They hope to relocate to Germany in summer 2024.
