EKOBENA, DENIS & ARIT

We are a family of five (Denis, Arit, Zuriel, ZoeDenise, and Zariah ) proudly serving in the heart of Africa (Yaounde, Cameroon. Central Africa Region). In December 2013, we left the USA to serve in the Cameroons. We have a passion to see the Word of God spread throughout the nations and raise radical disciples and servant leaders who are consumed by the LOVE of Christ. The core of our message is to challenge every believer to have an intimate relationship with God the Father.

It has been 10 years since we first arrived. We started by planting a Bible School (FIRE Bible Institute), and then a few years later we planted a church – FIRE Church (www.firechurch.cc)

Accomplishments since our arrival in Cameroon:

We currently have three Bible schools in Yaoundé, Douala, and Bokito. By 2050 the population of Africa will double so will false teachers. Our goal is to raise a new generation of servant leaders who lead Cameroun to a bright future.
we have graduated almost 500 students who have been trained in Ministry
We have helped plant numerous churches but we serve as senior leaders in a FIRE Church, located in Yaoundé which has a focus on reaching those hurt by the church, the unchurched, and the expatriate or international community in Yaoundé
Numerous health campaigns with our doctor friends from the US in villages and cities and donations of medications and clothing.
Yearly healing and Revival evangelistic campaign that gathers thousands of people
Support to widows and orphanages in Yaoundé and surrounding villages
Yearly leadership conferences.

Now 2024
As the population doubles the median age will be from 16-24. So our goal is to equip this age group with entrepreneurship skills and release them as marketplace evangelists.

Arit has a passion for Medical Missions, Education for all children, and a strong belief in empowering women to fulfill their destiny in Christ. As a Nurse Practitioner, Arit has a great career in Healthcare; from Duke Hospital in Durham to Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.
