Taphath began loving the Lord at an early age. When she was ten, the Lord told her she would be a missionary. However, He never told her when this word would come to pass. While waiting on the Lord’s timing, Taphath kept her passion for missions alive by teaching Children’s church, serving on worship and prayer teams, graduating from Bible college and later from The King’s University, and saying yes to whatever the Lord asked her to do. Her most important ministry began in 2012 when she and Benjamin adopted two children from the foster care system.
Taphath remained faithful to what the Lord asked of her over the years, and in 2023, the Lord opened the door for her to become part of the FIRE AFRICA team. She will reside state-side while serving as the Operations and Resource Coordinator for FIRE AFRICA. Her role will include some state-side and international travel as well.
