Clean-up continues around the property. I am taking advantage of my increasing good health and the cool weather of the spring to accomplish outside work. The previous owner left a variety of building materials around the property. We designated an area in the woods to store materials. For a couple days we gathered up all the random pieces of iron and piled them in the woods. During the 11 years we were blessed to live in the motor home I could not weld or do metal work. I’m looking forward to using those skills at this property.
As you know, the price of building materials has skyrocketed. I carefully took apart a previous wall so I can reuse the materials in the new wall. I am still shocked at how much it will cost to complete the guest area.
We are waiting on the materials for the porch roof to finish the ceiling and block the ravenous carpenter bees from eating the rafters. I decided to try using leftover Tyvek to block the bees. I am excited to report it is working. We are able to use the porch for entertaining purposes again. The bees were so enthusiastic about eating the wood that the porch would be covered with sawdust as we ate under their construction efforts.
I tried to have my first men’s meeting at the house this month and it was a no show event. Everyone says that they are in for this coming month. Pray for the men’s meetings to launch well.

Finances as the medical bills for my infusion are coming in, slowing progress on the guest area.
We continue to reach out by phone to communicate with ministers God has set in our hearts.
Pray for wisdom and insight moving forward on our house as we serve God here in North Carolina at The Workshop.
We thank God for each one of you, your prayers and your support in our new adventure of bringing ministers into our home. Pray as we finish the guest area of our home.

“We fix broken hearts and parts.”
We come alongside ministries providing practical solutions to everyday problems. This builds a trust between us that enables those in ministry to openly communicate what is in their hearts. We see freedom come as Jesus guides us in healing lives. These times of refreshing are great morale boosters offering the edge needed to effectively minister.
