We have some amazing, exciting and very big news to share with you. As many of you know, since we first headed over to Tanzania 2 years ago we have had visa/work permit issues. We have put a lot of effort and time in the last 2 years in attempt to get the appropriate work permits approved so that we can return to the place God has called us in Eastern Africa. Until now, nothing has worked, and this is the reason that we are currently still in the US after having to return amongst covid and other related issues. We are excited to announce that on 4/24/21 we found out that Jonathan has gotten his work permit approved. We would love to share in person how this occurred, but it must be said that it is a God thing. We had done everything humanly possible to get approved and had no more options…but God. We believed that God would get us into Tanzania in such a way that onlookers would be left with nothing to say but that it was God. It has happened in such a manner. God is so faithful and so worthy of all of our glory. This completely 100% was Him and His doing. It is already a testimony to people there in Tanzania of a God who truly works miracles.
This is big for us. It means that as soon as we get residence permits, we will be able to return to Tanzania. We have not yet heard about April’s work permit, but she is able to enter as a dependent on Jonathan’s residence visa at least. We have been told that it should take about 4-6 weeks to get the residence visa now that we have the work permit. Because we must wait for this final step to come through before we book a flight, we are anticipating being able to return home this summer.
While our entire family is ecstatic over this news we do want to meet with as many of you- our family, friends, loved ones and ministry partners as we can before we leave. If you want to connect with us please reach out and contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or message us on social media.
We have had many reach out wanting to know more specifically about our financial needs, so we want to share specifically. We will have some upcoming immediate expenses that would be a great places to partner with us in ministry. To get the final step of the residence visas started and completed we will need $200 a piece for both Jonathan and April. To get us back home to be His hands and feet in Tanzania we will need to purchase plane tickets. We have some set aside in our account for this but will need more to be able to purchase the tickets. The cast will be upwards of $1000 to $1500 a person and we are a family of five. If you feel led by the Lord to partner in either of these cost or in general for ministry in Tanzania please follow the bright boxes below.
