Bethany Zimmerman November 2020 - Fire International

Greetings Friends, Family and Partners,

Hello and Happy Thanksgiving! I have always loved the spiritual principle of giving thanks in all circumstances and having a day set apart where we can focus on that with our loved ones is something I treasure. I love the Passion translation of Psalm 107:1-3:

“Let everyone give all their praise and thanks to the Lord! Here’s why—he’s better than anyone could ever imagine. Yes, he’s always loving and kind, and his faithful love never ends. So, go ahead—let everyone know it! Tell the world how he broke through and delivered you from the power of darkness and has gathered us together from all over the world. He has set us free to be his very own!”

He truly is better than anyone can imagine! He is worthy to be praised in 2020 (and in the years before and after). He alone has brought us into the light of His goodness, faithfulness and shalom peace. Yes, how thankful I am for the evidence of His goodness in our lives. I pray that no matter where you find yourself reading this letter you would be encouraged to take a moment of thanksgiving, rejoice and remember He is the one who has set us free “to be his very own” and find comfort in that.

Jeryl and I throughly enjoyed our time in NC for the F.I. Missions conference and it was so wonderful to see so many of you and rejoice in what God is doing all throughout the world! We also want to say thank you to our F.I. Family for the special set-up at the business meeting to celebrate our recent nuptials. 😉 We are so blessed to be a part of such an amazing sending organization.

Northstar Initiative hosted a “Fall Fest” for the clients this month and it was so fun! We were able to worship in a barn, go on hayrides, eat chili and gather around a campfire. I am so grateful that God has opened the door for me to continue to do my part for those rescued out of sex trafficking.

In the Philippines we are still in need of a few more sponsorships for the Christmas Dinner Outreach. Thank you to those who have already contributed to this years Christmas Dinner and thank you to those who are prayerfully considering contributing as well!

Thank you for your faithful partnership with Jeryl and I as we continue to minister in the Philippines, the Tri-State area and where He leads.

Your Missionary,

Bethany Zimmerman
