Greetings Friends, Family and Partners,
As I write this we are preparing to leave for North Carolina for FIRE International’s Missions Conference. This will be Jeryl’s first time to meet many of you and attend the conference. We are so excited to see fellow missionaries, partners and friends and hopefully catch up with many of you.
In my previous newsletter I mentioned that I had an exciting announcement. I have partnered with a local ministry, Northstar Initiative, as a Restoration Coach at The Harbor. As stated on their website, “North Star Initiative supports women who are survivors of domestic sex trafficking by providing physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual care through a Christ-centered focus.” The Harbor is a restoration home for these women and provides a safe, loving home with 24X7 care along with therapy, counseling, case management, education, job and life-skills training, personal goal-setting, self-care and wellness, and spiritual development. I am thrilled to be a part of their team and help encourage these young women on their path to full restoration. You can find out more information here: http://northstarinitiative.org
In the Philippines we are still in need of sponsorships for the Christmas Dinner Outreach. With COVID-19 restrictions still being enforced we will have to get creative with this outreach. It is very likely the team will be hand-delivering the groceries right to their doorstep! So we will also be providing fare for the team to travel place to place. Thank you in advance for prayerfully considering contributing to this annual outreach.
