Greetings once again from Guadalajara, and honestly it is good to be back at home. Although Karyn and I are separated by a few miles, right at 1000 of them, we are in constant contact about all the goings-on here with the house and with the ministry. I pray all is well with you and the favor of the Lord is being poured out upon you. Enjoy this month’s news.
I’ve been enjoying more time than usual with the Treasure House girls over the past few weeks. I’m sorta the tech man for the house and one of the biggest things I have to deal with quite often is the 8 kindle kids fire tablets. Uncle Andy fix this, download this, it won’t start, or the numerous other things they can do to them. Because of the limit they have to social media, YouTube, etc…I’m always having to check passwords and accessibility to keep them safe. But I do enjoy tech and also spending the extra time with the girls. We took them out one day to the lake and brought their bikes and just let them run wild and use their “outside voice” for a bit. Of course as soon as we got there one of them says she has to use the bathroom. Seems I forgot to ask her before we left the house. I’m a little out of practice I think. Other things at their home are a bit more productive, at least for me, such as putting together beds and adding a changing room so the bathrooms in the mornings are not so occupied.
One of our goals for this coming year is to begin a new church. We have planted churches in the past but this one looks to be somewhat different. No time for details now but just togiveyoualittlehintabout it and our focus let me put it like this: All worship, discipleship challenging, and no preaching. What?! More on that to come. We are looking for a place to start this new group and are excited about the future of it. Please be praying with us as we are looking both where and when to begin. We have built a very good leadership group over the past several years and plan to include them in this new church. Recently several of us met out at the house for a cookout and I shared with them what I was feeling and the vision for the church. They were all very excited and are looking forward to being a part of this new family. During our time together we not only filled our bellies but we also filled our spirits as we had the 1st unofficial church meeting together.
Thank you so much for your continued prayers and partnership with us financially. We really appreciate all that you do.
Love you all so much,
Andy & Karyn
