Dear Friends and Partners,
We wanted to quickly share with you what we have been doing these past several months. The time has sped by as we have patiently waited for the country to return to some sort of normalcy. We pray you are doing well during this difficult time.
Our travelling has been limited but we were able to take a few trips before the country shut down. In December we drove to Raleigh to attend an event to support a pro-life, conservative candidate running for Governor of North Carolina.
In late January, we flew to Israel. For six days we attended the Intercessors for Israel’s Prayer Conference and then spent five days on a prayer tour to various strategic locations in Israel. This year was a smaller group than normal and we found the intimacy we could enjoy with one another a special blessing. While there, the Trump peace plan was revealed and we were able to pray and share what the Lord was revealing to us about the proposed plan. While at the conference we were delighted to be able to re-connect with Steve Lightle, a minister and teacher and a long-time friend of Guy’s.
In February we attended The National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C. to pray before and during The Breakfast. In our prayer time we sensed a a fresh presence of the Holy Spirit who granted us an unction to pray for the United States, other nations and the Kingdom of God.
In March we drove to Washington D.C. to pray at the Supreme Court. We were there for four days praying inside and outside the Supreme Court building before and after oral arguments that were heard on March 4th regarding a Louisiana law that required abortion providers to have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles of their abortion facility. Since returning from Israel, Guy had been battling serious vertigo and just before leaving for this trip Sarah broke her toe. We were most likely a very comical sight, Sarah limping around while helping Guy stay upright. Praise God that we were healed of both infirmities.
We were really looking forward to being involved in the National Day of Prayer in May, but were really disappointed when it was cancelled.
Our next planned trip to Washington, D.C. is for The National Prayer Assembly in October. During the assembly, we learn what various government agencies, ministries, and organizations are doing in maintaining Godly principles After each speaker shares, we spend time in prayer for the group the speaker represents. We love the strong focus on prayer during this assembly.
Thank you so much for partnering with us. Again, we covet your prayers for safety, health and God’s direction.
Love in Christ,
Guy and Sarah
