Hello from Mati City, Philippines!!
While we are still under pretty strict quarantine in Davao City, Pastor Amy and I received permission to travel 3 hours away to Mati City, since it’s still inside Region 11. After 128 days in quarantine and only being allowed to go out of the house three days a week getting out of town has been a welcome break! We’ve spent our time here at a simple beach house right on the water, with an extraordinary view. We have had a great time of relaxation and creativity as we’ve planned for several new teaching series for our “Global Impact Online Campus” as well as our Thursday night “Limitless Live Stream” Our series will include “Conquering Anxiety”, which is something I know about first hand. I will also be doing a teaching series on Worship and a series on Prayer! Having one on one time with Pastor Amy has been great as well. I’m So EXCITED to get back to Davao and get started with the recordings.
I would like to ask for your help with something. I really need a vehicle. I physically can’t drive or ride on a motorcycle anymore and with the cost of taxis going up and other public transportation not being as available due to COVID I really need to raise funds for a vehicle! I put a picture above of the vehicle that I would like to raise money for, it’s a multi-purpose vehicle, a Toyota Innova. I know it’s just me right now but I have some things in the works and eventually I will need this size vehicle. The cost of the vehicle used is around $15,000 USD used and new is $20,000 USD. Can you help me make this need a reality? ANY amount that you can give will help with the goal!! If you’re able to help please mail all funds to FIRE International PO Box 5306 Concord, NC 28027 or online at www.fire-international.org and write Lockhart-vehicle in the memo line so that it can be separated from my monthly support. Thank you in advance for your help!!
I’m enjoying being able to join my Lighthouse Community Church again for corporate worship and the Word of God! We have to wear a mask and social distance and we gather on Friday at 4:30pm so it’s a little different but the Spirit of The Lord is just as beautiful! I missed joining with this part of the body so much when we were in quarantine and our first Friday back together brought me to tears in the Lords sweet presence! I enjoy my daily time with the Lord, reading the Word, praying and worshipping but there’s also a very deep need and desire for corporate fellowship. I am grateful that we are able to come together and celebrate our Lord!!
