Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
The devil can’t stop the power of God.
Our God makes a way for us even where there seems to be no way.
That which was meant for evil, God will use for good.
I am convinced that if we pray and listen, God will give us innovative ideas and can actually use this global crisis as a tremendous catalyst for reaching this world in a more powerful way than at any other time in our lives. If we will be willing to adapt to the current situation, God will use us mightily to bring many lost souls into His Kingdom.
SOCIAL MEDIA EVANGELISM
One thing we can do is share the Gospel message over Facebook or Facebook Messenger. Even if we are unskilled in evangelism, we can share the power of the Gospel from someone else’s message and perpetuate it to thousands more than ever before in history.
Our ministry receives many testimonies of souls being saved, backsliders returning to their first love, the sick and afflicted being healed and believers receiving the baptism in the Holy Spirit while watching a YouTube video from a link posted on Facebook. We recently received a testimony of a young mother who was healed through reading a text message! GLORY TO GOD!
You can help by sharing the links to these messages and YouTube videos from our website at thebpom.com on your Facebook page. Together we can accomplish so much!
One very powerful passage of scripture that many in the church are proclaiming with amazing results over themselves, their family and others is Psalm 91.
In the first verse of this Psalm, we read, “He who dwells in the secret place of the most high, shall abide under the SHADOW of the Almighty.”
The psalm then gives a list of proclamations about how the Lord will protect us and keep us from evil.
In order to abide under the SHADOW of the Almighty, you must get closer to Him than ever. When we do this, His shadow takes over our shadow.
We read in Acts 5:15-16 that God used Peter’s shadow to heal the sick. When we draw near to God, He will use us the way He used Peter.
Because of social distancing, I was forced to use my shadow to minister healing to people while carrying the big cross recently. People saw me with the cross and pulled their vehicles over. They got out and came near enough to ask me why I carry the cross. During the conversation with some of them, the Lord revealed to me that they needed healing, and they were instantly healed by the power of God in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ when they stood in the shadow of the cross. HALLELUJAH!
Several others surrendered their lives to Jesus. Others received the baptism in the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues. C’MON JESUS!
Our Lord Jesus said in John 14:12 that we would not only do the works that He did – but that we, as believers on Him, will do greater works. Will we take Him at His word and step out in faith to fulfill what He said about us? He will watch over His word to perform it!
WHAT ABOUT THE HOMELESS?
Because of the social distancing guidelines, we are not allowed to go into the city of Atlanta to minister to the homeless at this time. I don’t want to expose our volunteers to the virus. The homeless are extremely at risk because of poor hygiene or access to shelter while practicing social distancing. I went alone to minister to them a few weeks ago, and ministered to those who were sick by having them stand about six feet apart while walking past them to allow the shadow of my hand to fall on them. Several of them testified that they felt heat or tingling go through them as I proclaimed healing in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Afterwards, two volunteers arrived from Christ Chapel with prepared bags to feed the homeless. Although the homeless practiced social distancing while I preached, everything changed when I started giving out slices of cake from the tailgate of my pickup truck. They began to swarm me, telling me which slices they wanted, and touching me with their hands to get my attention. So, I decided that it would be wise to wait a few weeks to return to our regular schedule to protect our volunteers. I can’t do it alone.
Also, they can get food everyday from 1-3 p.m. at Hurt Park during this pandemic, and another ministry has set up portable hand washing stations in several area of the city. Our friends at the Atlanta Dream Center are keeping us updated on their current status. Please help us pray for them, that God will continue to make a way where their seems to be no way.
We want to say a huge “THANK YOU” to those of you who continue to partner with us during this time by your prayers and generosity as we keep reaching out to the lost, the backsliders, the sick, the afflicted and those who are hungry for more of God. You guys are amazing. We are praying and expecting God to continue to make a way for all of us even during a global pandemic.
“But my God shall supply all your need according His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” – Phil. 4:18
