Snow in the distance! Driving to town for essential supplies I spotted snow in the higher elevation mountains. I pulled over to share a picture with you all.
Some of you may know that Stephanie desired to reacquaint herself with hospital nursing when we moved out of the motorhome to start our own ministry, The Workshop. It has been a stressful time of learning the new procedures. Now with Covid-19 at our doorstep she is under even more strain learning how to step up Personal Protection Equipment and changing protocols.
I have been trying to get stuff done at The Workshop. I identified that the chimney is wicking water into the house and applied sealer to the mortar. As the weather warms we found young termites setting off to a new home. We called an exterminator and we were the last house they did before shutting down operation because of Covid-19.
I was able to get 2 junk vehicles hauled off the property the day before North Carolina initiated stay-at-home orders. I hope to move all the extra building materials to the spot where the vehicles were. I cut down all the little pine trees from around the stacks of building materials to have better access. A friend from the church cut down a 50 foot tall dying tree, which was endangering the house, just before stay at home orders.
God is looking out for us as we build a place of rest and restoration for His leaders.
Pray for The Workshop.
We thank God for each one of you, your prayers and your support in our new adventure of bringing ministers into our home. Pray as we finish the guest area of our home. Please pray for resolution healing for my health concerns and finances.

The workshop It was a pleasure to get to know the students when I taught at FIRE School of Ministry years ago. A few have stayed in the area. One of my former students came to The Workshop to help out for a day. With his help, we accomplished some 2-person tasks...
About Brian & Stephanie Forbes
“We fix broken hearts and parts.”
We come alongside ministries providing practical solutions to everyday problems. This builds a trust between us that enables those in ministry to openly communicate what is in their hearts. We see freedom come as Jesus guides us in healing lives. These times of refreshing are great morale boosters offering the edge needed to effectively minister.
