When a small act of kindness turns into someone’s dream come true.

During my time with the girls, I’ve always emphasized the importance of the Word and finding our value and identity there. The Bible in their traditional language is very old, deep, and difficult for them to comprehend. So, for a while now, I’ve been wanting to get the girls nice English Bibles. Strangely enough, the English version is much easier for them to understand.

This month I surprised them with their first English Bibles. They were all so excited! They couldn’t stop thanking me… (and God.) They said they couldn’t believe they had actually gotten their own Bibles! The first thing Juday said was, “Ate Brittany, this is my dream!”
Thank you all for making a dream come true for these girls and for bringing truth into their lives!

OBEDIENCEThis word has recently taken on a whole new meaning for me! I used to see it as something really challenging or negative. When I would think about walking in obedience many times I felt like it meant giving up something I loved or like it was...

About Brittany Valdivia

My heart is to love the unlovable, see the broken and hurting restored, and bring hope to the hurting and hopeless.

I just recently returned from working  in the Philippines for 3 months where I spent some time working with young girls who have been trafficked, as well as some time with the people who live in the mountains. I loved my time there and am currently building a partnership team so that I can return.
