As I write, we have had several cases presented to us to review if they are a fit for Safe Haven. It brings such joy and fulfillment to welcome a child to the family!!! Not only will they be cared for, but we will be raising them in a Christ centered home where they will hear the Word and teachings daily on living a life for Christ!
We are still looking to raise $36,000 for our operations cost for this year. We will have to double our staff as we double the amount of children we have now. It’s exciting!!! If you would like to make a 1 time donation, or ongoing monthly support please click the link at the bottom of this update.
We also started off the New Year with welcoming the Clackum Family to Safe Haven. They have moved here to help pioneer and establish our Feed the Hungry arm of the vision. We are so excited to reach out with practical needs and share the gospel to our community just outside of Safe Haven. There is a real need here!
Jeff & Nichole are celebrating their 1 year anniversary on the Mission field. They have done so well adjusting to life here and are such a joy to everyone around them!!!!! They are currently preparing for their 2nd True North Month of Impact for the summer. Spots are filling up fast and we are excited for these kids to encounter the Lord this summer and our prayer is that they will have a greater hunger for the Lord that will continue once they leave.
On the home front we are doing great!
We are still fostering 18 month old Johnnie and it’s such a joy! Our whole family and community is completely in love with him!!!! I can’t imagine life without him, but we trust the Lord with all the unknowns. Please pray with us that he would be protected and safe and in Gods perfect will.
About Trent & Amy Pruett
Missionaries to the Philippines since 2011. We spent most of our lives in business experiencing success and were top producers in Real Estate. We loved God and felt our part was to support until we went on a missions trip in 2004. It was then the Lord called us into missions and we willingly and joyfully gave up everything to follow the Lord and serve on the foreign mission field. Our heart and hope is that the Lord get glory through our lives in any way possible. It’s all for HIM
