Jesse & Becki Brattrud November 2019 - Fire International

Hello Everyone,

It has been an exciting first month on the road. We left Alaska on October 7 and made it to Concord NC in time for the school reunion and missions conference October 17-21,  we had a social visit with Pastor Matt Malek at New Castle Assmbly of God Church in Ohio, it was great to see him after all these years, he was my roommate my second year of Bible college at BRSM. October 27 we had the honor to share at Pastor Bruce Otto’s church, Baileville Reformed Church, in Illinois.  Which just also happened to be my Grandma Brattrud’s home church for over 50 years.  It was humbling to share amongst so much family and family friends.  Finally November 3 The Holy Spirit connected us with Pastor Gooch, the pastor of Cornerstone Community Church in Winona MN.  Meeting them and their church was like a reunion of old friends.  They are a great Church, and Family.

We are currently headed to Virginia to share at Pastor Peyton Harris’s Church, River of Life Community Church in Richmond on November 17.  We are really looking forward to meeting him again, we made him and his son  our guests while they visited our dog sled business in Fairbanks AK a couple of years ago.

We are planning on stopping by Cincinnati Ohio area on our way there for the weekend of November 10, we don’t have anything scheduled for the 10th yet, we don’t know what God has planned for that area for us there, Cincinnati is on my heart, so that is where we are currently headed.

We have been sharing our vision for Brazil and encouraging the churches to step out and reach their communities for Jesus.

It is exciting to see what God does when his people step out in obedience to Him.

Please pray that we can bring the gospel with boldness, clarity, and the love that others can receive. Please pray for our partnership development to gain momentum.

Thank you to everyone who has partnered with us, your prayers make a huge difference. Thank you again

Blessings in Christ,

Jesse and Becki Brattrud and Family

Hello all, God is good, all the time, and all the time, God is good. The neighbors down the street, Ray and Kim, when we first met them last summer they would only pier through the crack in their door to talk with us. And since then Becki has brought them meals, and...

Hello all,  I pray that you all have had a great start to a new year. This one thing I know is that we serve a great Great God and He is on the throne. I was able to heal up from last month’s surgery and only suffer from occasional slight pain around my new scars. ...

Hello All, This has been quite the holiday season, with the turmoil in our government.  Thank Jesus that we serve a Great God, and He is on the throne. Mathew 28:18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. And this...

About Jesse & Becki Brattrud

It is our vision and focus to plant churches and to establish a base that can accommodate other missionaries and/ or those who are being raised up for ministry

Our plan is to attend language school and while attending language school we will explore rural Brazil, west and southwest Brazil specifically, the farming communities and small towns. Our next step would be to find the area with the most need, those little red or orange dots on the map that signify less than 2% Christian. Once we find that location then we will begin to search for a central location around the greatest need to establish a base. Once we graduate language school we want to quickly and smoothly transition to the new location, walk around the villages praying and helping anyone out that we see needs and will accept it. Then invite them and their families to our place for supper serve them Jesus. Plant a church, begin street preaching in the town, raise up leaders that are capable of reproducing Christ in others and spreading the gospel. Turn the church over to the people and establish a pastor. Oversee the local pastor and repeat. The goal will be to plant as many growing, self sustaining Christ-centered churches as by Gods grace and power that we are able. To bring blessings to the communities by Acts 3:26 “When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”
