As we work to make our home a place of rest and restoration, I am reminded of Israel. God uses the example of a people gone astray to show us how important it is to stay close to Him. He wants us to stay in His loving embrace for us to be in balance.
This property was allowed to become separated from the order and protection of a caring and loving embrace. It requires more energy to restore a thing than to maintain it. It does not matter if we talk about relationships or stuff we need to tend to for it to thrive.
The trees were allowed to spring up over top of the septic system, lack of ground cover has left erosion ruts that are hard to traverse and maintain, the roof needs some patching, weeds are everywhere and clinging to the walls and pushing into the siding. There are unfinished areas without doors, floors, drywall and paint.
I am painting a picture of our lives. Areas we leave unfinished and unmaintained strangle our ability to serve God and others as we are called. When it becomes insurmountable, we can no longer take care of ourselves or minister the Gospel of Jesus.
Our purpose is to bring ministers to this place and help identify, build, and restore areas left unattended in their lives so they can more effectively love Jesus and carry out the calling on their lives.
So much has been accomplished, so much still needs done. Pray with us that we are able to get the property ready so we can start hosting ministers.

“We fix broken hearts and parts.”
We come alongside ministries providing practical solutions to everyday problems. This builds a trust between us that enables those in ministry to openly communicate what is in their hearts. We see freedom come as Jesus guides us in healing lives. These times of refreshing are great morale boosters offering the edge needed to effectively minister.
