Dear Family & Friends,
Spanish Church in Dallas
We were blessed to minister in an Hispanic church in Dallas. A few days after that service A.W. received an email telling him, “My sister who you prayed for testified that she actually was able to see the street signs.” Thank you Lord for sight being restored!
Schedule Changes bring diving appointments
Two trips to the USA are never the same. This one has already been very different in the short time that we have been here. We have had a bunch of schedule changes all in one week, but through it all God already knew and has been directing our steps. For example, we were visiting friends in Indiana and I (Kathy) found out after getting back in the SUV that Deborah had hit her foot on a wooden bench. By the time we got to the room that had been booked 2 weeks before, her foot was very swollen. The person at the hotel desk gave me advice on what Deborah needed. I thought that he was studying medicine. When I went back to the desk for a bag to get some ice and brought a photo of Deborah’s feet, he said that he felt that it was not broken. When I asked him about his medical knowledge he said that he had just graduated from the University and received his degree in Sports medicine. Praise God for putting this man here even before we knew that we would need some medical advice and assurance.
We thank God once again for his protection!
Today while traveling, A.W. noticed the truck was handling differently, then he saw that one of the back tires was losing air very rapidly. He was able to get to our exit off the highway and pull into a gas station before the tire went flat. A.W. was going to put the spare tire on and he then realized the tire that the dealership had with our truck was as 17 inch rim and tire but the truck uses a 20 inch rim. Another praise report…while searching for a tire place to fix or replace the tire A.W. found there was a tire place right across the street in the plaza. So, he filled up the tire with air and we went across the street instead. Within 30 minutes we were done and on our way. There was no way to repair the tire because it had a large nail in it, so we had to purchase a new one that day. We are going to need to purchase a 20 inch rim and tire so that we have a spare tire for the 2012 SUV. Thank you Lord for keeping the tire from blowing out, keeping us safe, providing a place so close to help us get back on the road!
We were blessed to be with Pastor David and Carol this past Sunday. God moved in a powerful way and many were healed from various ailments. We are waiting for testimonies from those who will be going to the doctors to see what God has done in their bodies.
In our travels our muffler had problems. It broke where it connects to the motor. A mechanic friend recommended a muffler shop on the other side of town. A.W. went there and it was an easy fix. The owners (a nice couple) invited him in for coffee and he spent the next hour sharing the Word of God with them. They were touched by the goodness of God in hearing some of the testimonies. They were already believers. A.W. prayed with them and it was a great encouragement to them. God knows just what we need and sends the answer in so many different ways. Thank you Jesus!
Thank you so very much for your prayers and support. If you don’t currently support the work that God has called us to please prayerfully consider becoming a partner through your prayer and financial support.
In His Service,
A.W. & Kathy
