Joel & Pat Crumpton August 2019 - Fire International

Greetings, in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I just returned from my mission to Davao City, Philippines. What an amazing time it was! I arrived there on July 20th and began ministering the next day, Sunday, at Maranatha Church. It was a powerful service. Many received healing of various infirmities and torments, and several surrendered all to the Lord Jesus. Later that night, we gathered at the FIRE School of Ministry building to pray for revival. What a powerful time of intense prayer!

The following morning, I spoke to a group of young men at a basketball court where a mixed crowd meets to compete. Several responded to the message and stood to surrender all to Jesus. HALLELUJAH!

That night I was asked to speak and minister at The Burn Youth Service in the FIRE School of Ministry building. The building was filled to capacity. I spent some time equipping them to do the works of Jesus, then nine of them received the baptism in the Holy Spirit. C’mon Jesus!

The following four days we did miracle evangelism training from 8 a.m. to around noon. We also went to the streets and to the local markets and homes for outreach. Many were healed during these outreaches, and as a consequence, many of the people opened their heart to the Gospel message and surrendered their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ!

During an ultimate treasure hunt, we were led by the Holy Spirit to a motorcycle store inside a green building to find people with neck pain, back pain, foot pain and a hip injury. We were also looking for someone wearing a blue shirt. When we entered the building, we found about ten employees. One of them was wearing a blue shirt. We told them that the Kingdom of Heaven had come to their business, and that God had sent us to bless them. We asked if anyone had any pain. One of the young men said he had neck pain. One of us touched his neck and commanded the pain to go in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and he was instantly healed. Everyone was astonished, and others began to ask for prayer for healing. Five people were completely healed as different ones on our team ministered to them. We saw our opportunity, so we began to reason with them concerning their sin, God’s righteousness, and the judgement to come. Everyone came under deep conviction, and in a few moments, seven of them got down on their knees and surrendered all to the Lord Jesus Christ! GLORY TO GOD!!

On the last two nights we had equipping services at Buhangin Community Church in Davao. The church was large and both meetings were full of people hungry for God. After a time of teaching, I had the people confess their faults to one another and pray the prayer of faith for healing. There were over fifty people healed in each service, and about twenty received the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Many ran to the altar the first night to surrender all to Jesus. After the meetings, the pastor invited me to teach about three hundred of his house church leaders the next morning before flying back to America. It was a powerful service, and many were equipped to do the works of Jesus. Several people received the baptism in the Holy Spirit, and many were healed when they confessed their faults and were ministered to by those who had just been equipped.

I was so encouraged and blessed to see and hear how God is using the people in Davao City to do the works of Jesus since my last visit in September of 2018.

Whether I am in Atlanta or not, we have teams of volunteers who feed and minister to our homeless friends every Tuesday night. My wife, Pat led two of these while I was in the Philippines.

The first time I ministered at the outreach after returning from the Philippines, five people received healing before I preached, and seven prayed aloud to surrender their lives to Jesus after I preached.

For helping us continue to go wherever we are needed around the world and here locally to equip the people of God; and to minister to the sick, the afflicted and the addicted as couriers of the Kingdom of Heaven.
