Dear Family & Friends, August 2019
We arrived in the USA without any problems. Praise God!
The drive took us 2 days to get to the USA and it was a good thing that we did. The ride was smooth in Mexico. We had favor at the check points and then waited 2 hours on the bridge to get into the USA. We are thankful that it was only 2 hours.
After we crossed the border there never are dull moments on our trips to the USA
- A pipe in the muffler system let go in the middle of nowhere in South Texas. We found out that the muffler had been welded in 2 different places before we bought the truck, but now it is fixed. Thankfully for only about $65.00!
- Our trailer was broken into in Austin Texas but nothing stolen because all we had in the trailer were bibles/tracts, spare trailer tire, and some empty suitcases. A trailer place in Jackson TN wanted $120 just to look at it. A.W. brought the trailer to a mechanic close to his mom’s house who has been working on their vehicles for many years and we are so thankful that the lock was fixed for $30.00. Thank you Jesus!
Michoacan- We went for a quick weekend of ministry in Michoacan with Pastor Sergio & Jessica, Pastor Candy & Alma Salinas and Pastor Fernando in 3 different churches. People were encouraged; there were some healings and deliverances. We were blessed to also meet Pastor Sergio & Jessica’s baby while we were there with them.
Bible School Graduation
The end of July right before we came to the states was the ESFM Bible school graduation. I believe there were 15 or 16 students that graduated. A.W. was blessed to see God work in each of the students’ lives throughout the school year. It will be a blessing to see what God does in and through the students’ lives in the future.
Visit with Roger West
A few months ago A.W. was able to visit Roger West at his home. Brother Roger has been here in Mexico more than 50 years serving the Lord as a missionary. It was a special time for A.W. to just be able to spend some time with him.
Mas Que Vencedores
In July there were several people that surrendered their lives to Jesus! Please keep them in prayer as they grow in their relationship with the Lord! Thank you Jesus!
Heading to New England in a couple of weeks
By the time you get this letter we will be in or heading to Rhode Island. A.W. & I are looking forward to seeing as many of our friends/family as we can during our time in the area.
We are so thankful to each and every one of you for your prayers and sacrificial giving over the last 17 years. We have seen God do so much in the hearts and lives of the people. We are excited to see what God is doing to in the up coming months/years as we continue to serve HIM! Thanks again so very much for all your prayers and continued support!
In His Service,
