Greetings from Cameroon, Africa. Wow, such a blessing writing to you all from this blessed land. I pray all is well with you, and you find this month’s news encouraging. Thank you for taking the time to invest into our lives. You are so awesome!
Before jumping into my current location, let me tell you about the exciting time we had in the streets of Guadalajara before departing for Africa. One of our good friends, Jorge, who has been going downtown with us for the last couple of years, he has really been burdened with the children living in extreme poverty in the downtown area. Over the last year he has been having a once a month feeding/teaching/game time with them to introduce them to Jesus. He has had some very positive results with the kids. This past time Jorge shared about the Holy Spirit, and then asked them who wanted to know and encounter Him. They were all very excited and wanted more of Him and heaven in their lives. There is no Jr. Holy Spirit. What we get they get. Several of them were filled with joy and laughter not really knowing what was going on. I don’t always understand Him either but that’s ok. We just let Him surprise us with His presence. We believe these seeds of heaven that we are planting in them will grow into strong trees one day not easily swayed by the cares of this world. Jesus, raise up world changers from the streets of Guadalajara!
Jorge has taken it upon himself to buy chairs, supplies, and food, all to bring heaven to these kids. If you would like to help Jorge out with a donation I’m sure he would receive it with joy. If you can’t give be sure to pray. These little ones do not have the best that life has to offer, and life there can be very hard.
Well after 20 plus hours in the air we made it to Yaounde, the capital city of Cameroon. We were graciously met at the airport by Denis Ekobena, the FIRE Bible Institue director, and we set off for our home for the next 8 days. Flying with me is Pastor Jeb Airey from Journey Community Church in Lumberton, TX. Together we tag teamed the teachings at the school. We knew the theme of the week was the supernatural, but you would have thought we had talked about our teachings ahead of time by the way they flowed together so well. The first night I taught them 2 important declarations to use on themselves everyday. The first is “I’m supernatural,” and the second is “I do supernatural things.” Say it til you believe it, believe it til you see it. The last night of the school we had a Fire tunnel. Karyn always says she was born for these times and I agree with her. Such a powerful time where hunger attracts heaven and deposits of the Holy Spirit Fuego are imparted. So many healings and callings happen during the tunnel time. Just as a tunnel in the natural will take you from one place to another, a fire tunnel thrusts you forward into new encounters with Jesus. From glory to glory we go. That is His idea (2 Cor. 3:18). As of this writing the graduation is still due to come so I’ll follow up on that next month with anything exciting that I’m sure will happen.
I say it month after month and if it were possible I’d say it to you every day. Thank you for being a part of who we are and what we do. Thank you for sowing and believing with us for a harvest. May Jesus receive what He deserves, nations bringing Him glory and honor.
