Hi Family and Friends,
You probably wouldn’t believe me if I told you how many times I’m asked to take a picture with a stranger. The Philippines is the “selfie capitol of the world’ and you see people taking selfies ALL the time. There are days when I decline photos, there are days that I reluctantly accept. This day made me SO HAPPY! After an advocacy event Pastor Amy and I were having a conversation and we looked around and saw this crowd standing in front of us. I could tell by the looks on their faces and I asked, “Do you want a selfie with us?” They ALL yelled “YES!” And so I took the selfie! I loved being surrounded by them knowing that they had just participated in our first stage production of “BEE FREE” Global Impacts newly launched children’s advocacy program!!
The kids LOVED hearing the story of Will and his friends as they went on a quest to see the Kind King and learn of the BEE SMARTS-5 simple but key principles that help children stay safe and make wise choices! It is such a blessing to be a art of a ministry that is focused on the safety and care of our children!
Love and miss you all, Sherika
