Shalom Chaverim v’ Meshpocha,
Well, the rainy season here in Israel is drawing to a close, and we thank Father God for the abundance of rain that He has poured out on His land. From what I hear, the Sea of Galilee is still down three centimeters, but the snow on Mount Hermon has not completely melted. So we should be getting another centimeter added to the Sea of Galilee. If any of you have the desire to visit the Holy Land now would be the time. The spring flowers are blooming, and the land has put on her best dress for all of you to see. Of course, along with the flowers comes the weeds, and someone needs to cut them down. I am blessed to be that someone. As you can see in the photos, there is much to do. This is only half of it, as there is also the back forty. I ask you all to pray for two things. First, I need prayer for my physical health. I am now 68 years old, and along with the age comes some aches and pains, especially when I have the mountain of weeds in front of me. Second, please pray that Father God would send harvesters (volunteers) into the field to help me with the task that is set before me. Not only does this need to be cut down, but it also needs to be raked, bagged and hauled away. I have been doing this every year, but now it is starting to take its toll on me. Thank you all for your prayers.
Next, I want to update you on the children at the home for the handicapped. Fifi is still running Carol ragged, and Carol is loving every minute of it. As for Mariam you can see in the photo that her head is still growing and her parents still will not allow her to have the operation to drain it. The doctors say that her heart is too weak and that she probably would not survive the operation. We once again ask you to pray for her, that Father God would either heal her in this world or the next. It breaks our hearts to see her suffer the way she does. Carol prayers over her and plays with her. Sometimes Mariam giggles when Carol is with her, but she also weeps. Thank you all for your prayers for Mariam, and all the other children there.
Well, that’s about it for now. Once again we thank you all who are a part of the Father’s Heart Family. May our Heavenly Father pour out on you all a blessing that you cannot contain.
In His Service,
Frank and Carol
P.S. We have started to plan for our 2019 visit to the states. We would be honored to come and share at your fellowship/church if you are in in the Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama, northern Florida, North
Carolina, Maryland or Ohio areas. Please let us know and we will see just how far you are from our route. Lord willing we will be stopping in to see you. firstname.lastname@example.org

About Frank & Carol LaPorta
The Father’s Heart Ministry (FHM) started back in April 2004 and is totally based on God’s Word in Matthew 25:34-40. In short what these verses state is that we are to minister to the needy of the world. That is what Carol and I, by the leading of the Holy Spirit, are doing here in Israel.
