We would like to extend a greeting from our family to yours! Thank you so much for taking the time to read our April newsletter. We are so honored to serve under FIRE International as missionaries to the United States and beyond.
As many of you know God has uniquely called our family to back to our Jerusalem (The United States) for a season. Our mandate is to carry a torch for Jesus and shine his light in the midst of darkness. This month we have had some exciting adventures and testimonies to the goodness of our Lord Jesus.
Let me start with sharing about an Encounter God night we had at FIRE Church in Concord, NC. Our missions directors asked if Peter would help out with worship for this night of encountering Jesus. He gladly said yes! After a time of extravagant worship our team prayed over those who had been inflicted with illness and God showed up! Seeing people rejoicing once they received their healing brought tears to our eyes. This is why we are here in America! For years we have seen miracles happen overseas through our missions work and now God is saying “America!” Now is the time America!
Our hearts were somewhat jarred by the fresh mandate God gave our family over two years ago. Go back to America? But we are called to Asia! I, Peter, am finally able to speak the native Filipino language. I am finally okay with rice three times a day and I feel like Ive truly made the Filipino people my own people. Then God spoke…
It was then God spoke to us. He said, I want you to stay available to me and I will use you in a special way! We have continued to stay available to the Lord and guess what! He has been using us in special ways =)
We are reaching our neighbors with the gospel and almost daily have kids knocking on our door. Peter had a neighbor friend from New York stop in and was healed right inside our garage from a major back injury.
Our heart is to equip the body of Christ to do the works of Jesus. Take a look at Jesus’ instructions for us. (Matthew 10:7-8) And proclaim as you go, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without paying; give without pay.
We have said in past newsletters that we are willing to come and minister wherever their is a need.
Do you or your church have a hunger for more of God? Do you need a fresh touch from Jesus?
Our hearts are ready and available =) If you would like Peter to come and share in your church please contact us at email@example.com or call us at 912-508-2299.
