It has been an exciting month.
We were able to give out a few more Chinese bibles, it is amazing how having a poster that people can relate to in a cabin can draw people to the creator.
Our last dog tours were on March 20th nearly 3-1/2 weeks earlier than last year on account of our lack of snow this season.
We have placed our property for sale in both the Alaska Magazine and on Sled Dog Central. Currently our ad is running on Sled Dog Central, but won’t be in the Alaska Magazine until the June issue comes out.
I have had the opportunity to preach a message on running the race that we are called to and finding rest in Jesus along the journey.
I am working on renewing all my licensing for construction, but will be only taking smaller jobs so that if our property sells then we can move our stuff out and load up the bus and begin our partnership development full time.
It is nearly dry enough to crawl under the bus and change out the septic tank with the new one we brought this winter, and to fix the section of exhaust pipe we lost in Canada on our way back from North Carolina in October 2017, when we hit a patch of black ice and went in the ditch. That was the incident that allowed us to witness to a couple people from Texas that had just had their mirror on their vehicle sheared off by a semi. The account in its entirety can be read on I believe our first newsletter on the fire international website.
It is exciting to see God moving in the hearts of our family members, and after several years of witness they are beginning to take in the truth of the Gospel.

About Jesse & Becki Brattrud
It is our vision and focus to plant churches and to establish a base that can accommodate other missionaries and/ or those who are being raised up for ministry
Our plan is to attend language school and while attending language school we will explore rural Brazil, west and southwest Brazil specifically, the farming communities and small towns. Our next step would be to find the area with the most need, those little red or orange dots on the map that signify less than 2% Christian. Once we find that location then we will begin to search for a central location around the greatest need to establish a base. Once we graduate language school we want to quickly and smoothly transition to the new location, walk around the villages praying and helping anyone out that we see needs and will accept it. Then invite them and their families to our place for supper serve them Jesus. Plant a church, begin street preaching in the town, raise up leaders that are capable of reproducing Christ in others and spreading the gospel. Turn the church over to the people and establish a pastor. Oversee the local pastor and repeat. The goal will be to plant as many growing, self sustaining Christ-centered churches as by Gods grace and power that we are able. To bring blessings to the communities by Acts 3:26 “When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”
