Greetings from Mexico. It is so good to be writing you from our home this time. It has been a busy month full of travel and events and I look forward to sharing just a small bit of it all. I hope you are all doing well and expecting the next great adventure of the Lord for your own life. Let Him bring you where only your dreams have taken you!
We host several teams each year from all over the country and they come with different agendas from building projects, ministry, teaching, among others. Our latest team from the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry obviously comes with ministry in mind so we do our best to find locations that the students can put into practice many of the things they are learning in their school. One of the greatest strengths we have seen consistently with the Bethel teams is their fearlessness. They have one focus, Jesus’ kingdom invading Earth and nothing stops them from their mission. I love their passion and joy that flows from them as they go after heaven. It is very contagious and has a huge effect on everyone they come into contact with. It was refreshing to have them stay with us for 10 days and share their love of Jesus throughout Guadalajara.
For one Sunday morning service we took them to a local bar, not to drink old wine but the new. All bars are shutdown on Sunday am’s so the owner lets the church use his at a low cost. We talked with the owner, who lives there on site, and he told us he wants a church in every bar he owns because of the presence the church carries. That is awesome! He is going to talk to some of his buddies that have connections to the part of the city we want to start a church in and see if they want us in their place on Sundays. What an incredible opportunity to invade the darkness! We are here to transform the city and setting up the kingdom at the gates of Hell is a great way to do it. Come on Jesus!!!
I left you last month saying I last saw our van being driven off towards Mexican customs with the hopes of getting everything I needed to bring it to Guadalajara and get Mexican plates. Well all is good. I returned home and was able to complete the process without incident and now we have a Mexican plated van and we never need to make a run to the border to renew papers, that is such relief. Thank you for those that were praying with us for a smooth transition.
We took a small team to invade Puerto Vallarta this past month and had an incredible time. The church Justicia y Amor in Vallarta, one of the largest churches there, had invited us to come and share on worship, healing, and evangelism. We spent the weekend with them and it was awesome watching our team give prophetic words, release healing, bring love encounters with Jesus, and take risks they have never taken before. Karyn and the band played at the local theater on a huge stage with lots of lights, sounds, and a smoke machine. I love those effects although they are just symbols of the real thing (Ex. 20:18). Although the smoke was simulated, there was a heavy presence of the Lord filling the theater and I feel like a shift in the atmosphere of Vallarta took place during that weekend. Your Kingdom come!
Thank you so much for your prayers and financial gifts. We need you more that ever.
Blessings, Andy & Karyn
