“Our fight is not against people on earth. We are fighting against the rulers and authorities and the powers of this world’s darkness. We are fighting against the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenly places.” Eph. 6:12
As parents of young children, we know “fighting against flesh and blood” can seem inevitable! But with the above verse in mind, we want to take this newsletter to ask for your earnest prayers.
Many times in the New Testament we see the Apostle Paul asking for prayer from those who read his letters. Although we are definitely NOT on the same level as Paul, we still face many spiritual forces that oppose our ministry. The last two months in particular have been marked by contending prayer over our home and work.
We believe that many great things are ahead of us! A disciple making, missions movement coming out of the Philippines that reaches the unreached nations of SE Asia and beyond – just to name one!
Satan wants to keep those who are bound, in chains; those who are hurting, in pain; those who are searching, lost. He would also like to keep those who are willing to say, “Here I am, Lord; send me!” stuck in their home country, unable to go and reach the world.
“And that about wraps it up. God is strong, and He wants you strong. So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way. This is no afternoon athletic contest that we’ll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels.” Eph. 6:10-12 The Message
We continue to proclaim God’s healing over Amariah and say “NO!” to migraines!
