Peter & Brenda Naska February 2019 - Fire International

Dear friend,

We pray this month’s newsletter finds you both blessed and uplifted in the Lord! God has been so good to us this last month. We have been taking notice of how God is at work in all areas of our lives both small and great alike.

Our family has been moved by the heart of God to simply be His hands and feet wherever we see him leading. Much like our Lord Jesus and how He only did what He saw His father doing (John 5:19).

The way we have been doing this is within the local church body. We have been blessed to help worship teams in local churches and in life/home groups.

To see the church come alive and walk in a healthy relationship with the Lord Jesus is our calling. We want to see torches lit on fire for Lord Jesus again. For many the fire is faintly flickering and is in danger of being snuffed out. We believe it is time for local church bodies and individuals to fan into a flame the gift of God. (2 Timothy 1:6)

We were blessed to host our good friends, Nick and Jade Klein, for a day this month. They are visiting missionaries from the Philippines. There isn’t a day that goes by that we don’t miss the Philippines. Thank you for praying for the Philippine islands! God is on the move in Asia!

We wanted to take a moment and thank all of you who have been such a blessing to our ministry over the last thirteen years. You have literally made everything possible that we have done for the kingdom. It is exciting to know that you will one day be richly rewarded by God for your sacrificial giving. Yet even now, we want to say thank you and honor those who have supported the work of the gospel.

Remit envelopes

Many of you receive our newsletter in the mail and inside you will notice the remit envelope. In this envelope you are able to put prayer requests so that we can agree with you in prayer. We want you to know that we read every prayer request and join in with you believing for breakthrough.

We also want you to know how blessed we are by your personal notes that you send in. Just this last month a couple from Ohio sent travel money for Brenda’s airline ticket to the Philippines. Thank you for your kind note and financial gift! We are overwhelmed by your kindness.

We want to pray a blessing over you and your family. That God would continue to keep your storehouses full and that you would continue to live in peace and good health. I’m reminded of Paul’s words in (Philippians 4:18b-20)

Paul said that the gifts from the church were “a sweet smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God. And my God will supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.”

Thank you

Your missionaries,

Peter, Brenda, Gabriel, Mayumi, and Levi Naska
