Dear Family and Friends,
Outreach- Kids –
What a wonderful outreach in a very poor area working with the leaders that meet with these children every Saturday. We met on the top of a hill and the children and their moms experienced worship and heard the word of God! There were 25 people, mostly children who gave their hearts to Jesus. God is good! At the end of the program the children received a Samaritans Purse Gift box. They had to wait until every one received a box before they were allowed to open their gift. For many this was the only gift they had received for Christmas. As the children were leaving the meeting each one was given a candy bag, a care package with a toothbrush and toothpaste, and a small toy. Even the big kids (moms) received a care package and a bag of candy. Thank you Lord for all you have done and will continue to do in their lives!
Helping those in need
We have been helping a poor family with food and necessities for the last few months. Each time God has given us the opportunity to share the gospel with the family. Although they have not given their lives to Jesus it is only a matter of time! Please believe with us for their salvation.
Mexico and gasoline problems
As some of you may have heard, we have been having major problems getting gas over the last month. Since the new president took office in December he has been addressing the fuel theft that has been going on for years. Last year alone there was $3 Billion US dollars worth of gas stolen from the pipelines here in Mexico. The president had shut the pipelines down and had to deliver gas by tanker trucks from the refinery to the stations. Even now the last day of January finding gas is getting better but the supply does not last very long. If you find a station that is open there are little or no lines. But timing is important. During the shortages we saw people pushing their cars to the gas stations because they ran out of gas. The longest we waited for gas was 2 hours but we never let our tank get below half full. But many people waited 3-18 hours. Many times cars would line up at the gas station hoping that a tanker would arrive sometime soon. We are praying that all gets back to normal soon. The refineries have found leaks that needed repairs and also many EXTRA valves that had been installed to help with the illegal tapping. Those valves have been removed. The pipeline is on for a while then shut down. That way people don’t know when the supply is flowing.
El Rostro de Dios- There was a lady with a tumor that she could feel in her stomach area. Then after prayer it disappeared and she could not find it. Praise God!
Thank you so very much for your prayers and support! We are able to be here doing what God has called us to do because of your faithful prayers and generous financial support. We will be in the USA in the fall speaking at churches, home groups, mens and ladies groups. If you would like us to share about the work here in Mexico. Please contact us via email email@example.com or through our Skype US phone number that rings our computer 1-731-438-4569 Please contact us today to see if we will be in your area in the fall.
