Greetings everyone from Mexico. It is so good to be back home. Holidays are always awesome but being where our calling is to see Heaven come down is even better. I pray you are all well and that 2019 would hold great promises for you. Enjoy this month’s news.
One of the things we are discovering is that they all end up in the streets, both the rich and the poor. Some are there by choice to enjoy the sights and sounds of the artsy/hipster side of Guadalajara while others are there because they have no where else to go. And what we decided is that they all need Jesus and no matter where they come from, we want to help them get to where Jesus wants them to go. We have so many great stories from both sides of the street it’s hard to choose what to share. One of my favorites is of the homeless gentleman that grabbed my Bible and turned immediately to Psalm 91 and began to declare the promises found there over the state of Jalisco, MX. In a loud voice he shouts, “Jalisco shall abide under the shadow of His wing.” And to that I say Yes and Amen!
One particular week we set up a table and gave out tamales and chocolate atole. You may not know what that is but they sure do and I’ve never seen a pot empty out so quickly. It’s so good to be able to provide, even if it’s just a little, to bring them something that gives them so much joy. Of course along with the good grub we take time to pray for needs and release the real joy that only comes from knowing Jesus. On the other side of town we are continuing to reach out to many through tattoo and dream interpretations along with spiritual cleansing. Now I know those seem like strange terms but they certainly draw people in and give us an opportunity to share the love of God with them. One young man, Carlos, asked about the spiritual cleansing sign and said he has been having lots of heaviness, depression, and anxiety over the last 3 months. We prayed, talked about Jesus, released heaven, and afterwards he says he felt much lighter like a weight had been lifted off and then he asked Jesus to come into his life. That’s what I’m talking about. Come on Jesus!!! Little by little, the streets set on Fire!
Speaking of “on fire” you should have seen Karyn when she took the mic and let the preach come out. Now those of you that know her also know she is very comfortable behind the keyboard but out in front, well not so much. During a service at a church about 9 hours from here, heaven came down and Jesus was moving and touching people and Karyn felt the need to encourage others to run hard and finish the race set before them, and that if they needed prayer to help push them forward then come up and get it. We sang “You’re Beautiful” and when we got to the last verse singing about entering in at the wedding bells ring. Well we just shouted it out as loud as we could and heaven filled the place. It was so awesome. Seriously, you have to come down and join in on one of our services. You will never be the same once revival fire hits you.
By the time you are reading this we will be back into the swing of our supernatural school. We had a planning meeting out at our place and we are all very excited about this coming year. We’ll fill you in more once we start up. Be praying for a great turn out of students.
Thank you all for everything and we love you all mucho!
