Carol and I want to wish you all a very happy and blessed new year. May 2019 be even better than 2018, and may we all rise to a new awareness of the love our heavenly Father is pouring out on us all. We also want to thank Him for all the b l e s s i n g s t h a t H e h a s bestowed on Carol, myself, and our families in 2018, and already in 2019. With this in mind we give thanks to Him for 4 new great grandsons born since June. Our precious Isaiah was stillborn on June 21st, 2018. We can not wait to meet him in heaven. Zaid was born on August 3rd, 2018; Hunter on December 24th,2018; and Colie on January 12, 2019. May these three all grow up to be used mightily in the service of God. Amen. As for us, we are doing well. We are still serving wherever Father God brings us. Which brings me to our next bit of news. The weather here in Israel has truly been a blessing and a challenage. The blessing is that Israel has had a very wet winter so far, and that the Sea of Galilee is up a significant amount. Of course we still need a lot more to get her up to her proper level. On the challenging side, with the rain has come very strong winds. Last week I went up to the ministry center to do some yard work, and the first thing I saw was this 120 year old pine tree had blown down into the parking lot, just missing the ministry center by inches. We are so thankful that the building was spared and that
no one was injured.
When I arrived I also noticed that two brothers in the Lord had started in on trimming the tree. So I went and picked up one of the chainsaws and started to help. Needless to say this will take some time, but for now we have the parking lot cleared, and I have started cutting up the large pieces to be used as firewood in the future. Please keep this in your prayers because it is a very hard and tedious job. Thank you. As for the children of Abba’s Arms they are mostly doing well. There are still the normal situations that Carol faces with the children that makes it strenuous on her, but by the grace of God she carries on with a smile on her face and the love of Father God in her heart. Update on the believer’s home for the elderly(Ebenezer Home). There have been new additions to the home which Carol will be meeting soon. She is still blessing the other ladies that Father has brought to her. Please keep these dear senior saints in your prayers. Well that’s all for now. As you can see, we stay very busy serving here in the Land. We want to thank all of you who have supported this ministry in the past years, and we pray that many more will come alongside and become members of ‘The Father’s Heart Ministry’ family. Father God states in Genesis 12:3a. “I (God) will bless those who bless you…” the “you” in this verse means the seed of Abraham, which are the Jews.
In His Service,
Frank & Carol
About Frank & Carol LaPorta
The Father’s Heart Ministry (FHM) started back in April 2004 and is totally based on God’s Word in Matthew 25:34-40. In short what these verses state is that we are to minister to the needy of the world. That is what Carol and I, by the leading of the Holy Spirit, are doing here in Israel.
