Who are we?

Barrett is from North Carolina and his wife Eugenia is from Buenos Aires Argentina. They both met in Argentina in 2012 while Barrett was living in Argentina studying Spanish and doing ministry there. Neither of them spoke the other’s language at the time they met but God made the miracle. They got married and after living in Argentina for a while moved back to the USA where their two sons were born. Nathanael (5) and Jonah (1) love the Lord with all their hearts as well.

What are we doing?

Currently Barrett is working in the Senior living industry to support his family. Eugenia is a stay home mom. Together they are planning missionary trips and evangelistic events for this year and serving in their church on the weekends. They are doing a lot of evangelism door to door. There are a lot of souls that need to be reached even in the USA.

If I say “I will not mention him, or speak any more in his name,” There in my heart as it were a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I am weary with holding it in, and I cannot. Jeremiah 20:9 ESV

For many years the Lord has been calling our family to missions. This is a calling that is like a fire shut up in our bones as the Prophet Jeremiah explained.  We must not hold in the gospel of Jesus Christ but make it know to the nations for his glory. We are excited and honored to announce that the dream God has placed in our hearts for missions is coming to past. We have been approved as missionaries to Cuba and Costa Rica through FIRE International, a mission sending organization that was birthed out of the Brownsville Revival. We are excited to be a part of the FIRE International family as their passion to see people radically saved around the world by the gospel of Jesus resonates also in our hearts.

2018 was an incredible year for our family as it was the year that we said yes to his calling for our lives. We took action to join FIRE International and God began to move the puzzle pieces. It was not much more than a month after being in contact with FIRE and telling God we would start the process to be missionaries did he move us to Colorado for a new job. I cannot even begin to explain how this move to Colorado I was God ordained and orchestrated. I’ll be honest, one night I randomly applied for a job in Colorado. The Job called me and shortly after, we were on our way to Colorado. We had no connections here and the move almost seemed crazy. We packed up our home where we were living in Maryland and made the Journey here. When we arrived in our new home in Castle Rock, CO my wife will tell you she did not even want to be here. This is when God took over.  After being here for a short time we found a bilingual church where God would reveal to us why he moved us across the country to Colorado.

When we met the Pastors of the church for the first time it was a God connection. Both us and the Pastors felt that we had known each other for years.  I cannot say enough about Pastor Hector and Vilma. They are the humblest people you will ever meet, and they are truly seeking God for revival. They are both from Cuba and God brought them to Colorado four years ago to see the Hispanic Church grow and have a personal revival. Not much longer God would give us the opportunity to work beside them as associate pastors over Evangelism and Missions at Nueva Vida, Denver. It has become clear to us that God has called us to Colorado to work with the Hispanic church here for a time.

God has opened up the doors for us in Cuba where we are hoping to be going to Cuba on a monthly basis, working with over a hundred churches. There is much need in Cuba financially, but Cuba is on the verge of a great awakening. The Revival Fire of God is in the Island of Cuba. One of the needs that God has laid on our hearts to begin helping the furthering of the gospel in Cuba is to support the local pastors. Even though the Church is growing in Cuba it is still very much persecuted. The Pastors are in need of support and finances to be able to continue the work of the Lord.  One Vision that we have is to create a project to raise the funds to support 100 pastors for one year. Each Pastor would need a $50.00 monthly support. This will allow each pastor to support his family and continue preaching the gospel. We are also planning on taking our first trip to Cuba in March where we will be meeting with the superintendent of over 1,300 churches in Cuba in order that we can see where we can be a part of having the greatest impact to further the gospel of Jesus.  After our trip in March we are praying for God to reveal to us what more he has planned for us in our calling to help support Cuba.  Long term, we feel that God will grow the ministry in Cuba, but we also feel that God is calling us to Costa Rica’s Guanacaste region to plant a church and move our family there to live full time as we minister to the people in Costa Rica.

We are asking you as our family In Christ for support to be able to accomplish what the Lord has laid on our hearts.  This can be done by monthly support through prayer or financial gifts. Please send us your prayer request as we too want to be praying for each on you.

Many Blessings
