Happy New Year! We pray your holidays were filled with family fellowship with focus on our Savior. We had a wonderful yet warm Christmas, as usual here.
We started the year with a day of fellowship, vision sharing and prayer for all FI Asia missionaries. (photo above) We look forward to all that is ahead for them in 2019!
Praise report! What may seem like a small accomplishment to most is actually a huge accomplishment for us. After more than a year of submitting more and more documents to the local city government office, FI Asia finally obtained its required business permit in December. (Just 5 days before it needed to be renewed!)
The next thing on our agenda is to obtain tax-exempt and tax-deductible statuses. These are very lengthy processes with many requirements to fulfill. Abundant grace to work with the Filipino government is always a NEED!!
To assist us with these processes, our new employee, Rick, is definitely a Godsend and answer to prayer. Please pray for the Lord’s wisdom in all things governmental as we proceed! We know that obtaining these new tax statuses is setting FI Asia into a place of greater growth and influence for the future.
One crucial need right now is to see more Filipino partners, especially kingdom minded business owners, come alongside FI Asia financially, to support Filipino missionaries. Please pray for these connections to be made.
