Hello all,

July has just flown by. It has been a very busy month and God is on the move.

We have been blessed with work painting a house as well as building a 12x32 foot deck. We were blessed to be able to preach at our local church the last Sunday of July from Romans 10:1-18. I preached on the difference between head knowledge of God vs heart knowledge of God, the need for the resurrection to become real, something that you believe in your heart, and that belief will cause you to go out and share with the world.

We also bought a booth for a Fairbanks celebration commemorating the history of the area called Golden Days. We gave away over 350 bottles of water and 750 super balls. We gave out around 50 business cards for solid Bible believing churches to people looking for a good church, There were so many people with questions as a result we had so many great conversations with people about our faith. We told them that we cannot earn our salvation, it is free. You just have to receive Jesus, and so everything in our booth is free as well. It is fun loving on people in Jesus name and watching the difference it makes. It is great to watch the smile on a 70 year old man chase a super ball across the street and then come over and begin talking to us and asking who we are and what we do. We had several people take our information and say they liked what we were doing and stood for and they would partner with us.

As I am writing this we are working a booth at the Alaska state fair and will be putting in 9 ten hour days. We have a game that the people play to win a spinner but in order to play they need to ask any question about God or the Bible. It has been really fun and cool watching Jesus work in the hearts of the people. We will share more about this next month.

We are very excited to see what the coming months and weeks are going to bring both in what God is doing in and through us and how God is going to work in our partnership development.

We have our first opportunity to have pulpit time in a church outside of our own on September 9. Please pray that we can proclaim the vision that God has given us to the people in the church and that their hearts will be open to what we share. Please pray that we can bring the gospel with boldness, clarity and the love that others can receive. Pray that God brings the right people at the right time to purchase our business. And Please pray for our partnership development to gain momentum.

Our monthly partnership needs are:

25 people to give $100 per month

25 people to give $75 per month

40 people to give $50 per month

80 people to give $25 per month

If we attain these goals plus any one time gifts then, Lord willing, we will have the funds raised for language school, a vehicle and plane tickets for six people within a year as well as meet all our overseas monthly missionary expenses.

Thank you! Blessings in Christ,

Jesse and Becki Brattrud and Family
