Groups…

We had two groups visit since the last newsletter, both youth groups from Charlotte area. One was a Spanish church with amazing Latino food that would make your mouth water just smelling it. The other was Fire Church (associated with our missions organization.)

Youth rededicated themselves to the Lord and there were first time salvations. The groups played water games and had camp fires.

 Tight fit…

I had to crawl my way under the auditorium to repair an air handler. It was harder than I expected. My legs kept falling asleep. I never diagnosed and repaired a blower motor in a commercial unit before. However, the air-conditioning in the auditorium now fully functions, making way for people to hear the Word of God less distracted by the heat.

Gibson and Andersons return…

Neill and family are excited to be home! He has been painting the walls in their apartment, making modifications, and getting the children ready for school. We have talked very little about the teaching and training that occurred in Hawaii. I am excited to see what God did in their lives while they were there.

The Andersons are working closely with Neill getting ready for the next phase here at the Missions Outpost and returned a little after Neill.

China in August cont…

Last month we shared that Stephanie had a clear call from God to go help “M” in China. DO NOT SHARE ON SOCIAL MEDIA. Stephanie and “M’s” mother arrived in China to await the birth of “M’s” second baby. A recent ultrasound showed the baby in good health. The current situation with the orphanage “M” and her husband run has been immensely stressful. They have been threatened with imprisonment and deportation. Government-run orphanages have sent “M” special needs and dying children, continuing to receive government funding for children “M” now has. The government has cracked down, returning the children “M” and her husband have come to love deeply to their original orphanage. Street children who found their way to “M” can stay. “M” was required to adapt a new facility for the children, and the funds did come in for much of the work, including the necessary elevator.

Prayer…

– For finances for Stephanie’s travel.

– I started my counseling course.

– More supporters for our ministry.
