It has been a challenging yet encouraging month.
God has been speaking to me about sharing the love of Jesus in a tangible way, in a way that others can receive and understand, and in a way that they can own and realize their value. It is amazing how something small can do so much.
Nearly every time we drive through downtown Fairbanks our children ask if we can preach to the people. We have been reaching out to the natives at the park on first street. We give them balloon animals that the kids make and then simply love on them and let the people know that they are valuable. It is humbling to see someone break into tears as they receive a balloon animal and a hug from a child, and how receptive they become when they know they are loved. Or break into tears when a white family walks up to them and then strikes a conversation with them and begins loving on them and when asked why we are doing this we tell them that we are all one blood, and love on them as we tell them we just want to show them the love of Jesus.
Our church had a work and witness team come up from West Virginia, they really blessed our pastor and church. Becki was blessed to cook 2 days for them and I had the opportunity to be blessed by lending some tools and a little time running some lumber to help with their projects around the church, and Corban really enjoyed helping with the trench for the new water line. Again all their hard work was and is greatly appreciated. They asked to hear our testimony and vision on their last work day and then asked for our partnership information, I nearly cried.
My pastor, Pastor Bob Sugden, and I had the privilege to work together and tear off and rebuild a dilapidated shed roof for 3 elderly ladies in our community and to share biblical truths with them, and build relationships that Lord willing leads to their individual salvations. Pastor and his wife have already been invited back for a meal and a chance to get to know them better. So God is moving in their lives and they are open to receive.
We have rented a space on July 21 for Golden days, which celebrates Fairbanks past. We are planning on setting up what we are calling an answers booth, our plan is to give out bottled water and some candy and super balls for the kids. Our vision for the booth is to have banners made that read “are the things you’re living for worth Christ dying for” as well as “do you realize how valuable you are?” and “answers”. Our vision is to get the information from the local churches that have partnered with us so far and plug people into these churches. We are praying for salvations as well as clarity to those who are confused or searching for the Truth. We are also praying that God will open doors for partnership development through this outreach.
Please pray that we can bring the gospel with boldness, clarity and the love that others can receive. Pray that God brings the right people at the right time to purchase our business. And Please pray for our partnership development to gain momentum.
Our monthly partnership needs are
25 people to give $100 per month
25 people to give $75 per month
40 people to give $50 per month
80 people to give $25 per month
If we attain these goals plus any one time gifts then Lord willing we will have the funds raised for language school, a vehicle and plain tickets for six people within a year as well as meet all our over seas monthly missionary expenses.
Blessings in Christ,
Jesse and Becki Brattrud and family

Hello everyone, We have had quite the adventurous month. Since Abigail, our middle daughter, gave her life to Jesus earlier, we took her to Myrtle beach and baptized her in the ocean. God must have figured that I needed to be baptized again and sent a big wave that...
