We write to inform you of a need we have. One of our financial partners ($1,000 per month) is no longer able to support us. This has created a deficit in our monthly income. We ask all who receive this newsletter to please:

  1. Pray for the Lord to sustain our family of five during this time of lowered support.
  2. If you are not currently financially partnering with us, please pray about doing so for one of the following:
  • $25/month
  • $50/month
  • $100/month
  • $_________

To make a secure online donation, please visit http://www.fire-international.org/donate and type “McCoy” in the information box, or mail a check using the enclosed return envelope.

Thank you so much for praying and partnering with us!

Happy 7th Anniversary!

April 7th marked 7 years since we  moved to Davao. And many of you have walked faithfully with us on this journey. Thank you SO much for your love, diligent prayers, powerful encouragement, financial partnership, and valuable friendship! We celebrate YOU and what Jesus has done through us together!

Lord-willing, this summer we will get to visit you! Our family will be in the USA late July to early November. See below for details.

We love what we do! And we love sharing about it – but even more so, sharing God’s heart for world missions. Send us an e-mail if your church, small group, Bible study, business, etc. would be interested in hearing some of these things!

Training, sending and supporting Filipino missionaries is our focus. Next week, our spiritual son, Alberto, and I will travel to Thailand, which is mostly Buddhist with less than 1% Christian. It’s in great need of the Gospel. Please pray for divine connections and open doors for future missions trips with FSM PH students, and for Filipino believers to answer the call to go as full-time missionaries to Thailand!

With only 9% Christian, there is also a great need to reach Muslims and Buddhists in Malaysia. Eight FSM PH students and graduates will join me for a 10 day trip to four cities there in late May. Please pray for fruitfulness and safety, and again, that Filipinos would bravely go and reach the unreached of Asia!

Summer Schedule

We’re excited to get to see as many of you as we can!!

  • Late July: Pacific Northwest
  • mid-August: Mid-south
  • early September: East Coast
  • October: North Carolina

About Eric & Jenny McCoy Children: Hannah, Amariah and Elijah

The Lord put Southeast Asia on Eric and Jenny’s hearts many years ago. Both are graduates of FIRE School of Ministry and served on staff there for several years before moving to Davao, Philippines in April 2011. They have a desire to see the Great Commission fulfilled in the Philippines and to see “church-planting churches” established across the nations. “The McCoys’ mission is to train Filipinos to reach the unreached of Asia.” Eric currently serves as the Missions Director and faculty member of FIRE School of Ministry and as the Director of FIRE International Asia which is a missions sending agency for Asian missionaries.
